'Necks broke on hitting the water'

The Lancastria, Britain's worst ever maritime disaster, is often forgotten amongst the commemorations of the Battle of Britain and Dunkirk.

Between 4,000-6,000 men died when the troopship sank off the coast of Brittany.

The BBC's Allan Little joined a small group of survivors as they went to lay wreaths at the place where the ship sank.
