Local policing 'must be maintained'

President of the Association of Chief Police officers, Sir Hugh Orde, will warn police chiefs at their annual conference today that police numbers are "unsustainable" and "critical duties" will be threatened by budget cuts.

Sir Hugh and Minister for Policing Nick Herbert debate how front-line policing will be affected.
