Are Western economies 'losing control'?

Chief economist of HSBC Stephen King has said that the West is losing control of its economic destiny and by the 2050s and 2060s will be a shadow of its former economic self.

Mr King, and economics commentator for The Times Anatole Kaletsky, debate the prediction.
