British public 'believed in victory'

A new book looking at British morale during the Second World War is being published today for the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Dunkirk, and the opening stages of the Blitz.

Paul Addison, co-editor of the book and Honorary Fellow at the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh, describes how Britons coped during the war.
