Parties reflect on debate outcome

The morning after the first-ever election leaders' debate, each of the tree main parties is claiming their man came out on top.

The BBC's political editor Nick Robinson told Today presenter Evan Davis that the Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg had seized the opportunity "with huge skill and great gusto".

But he added that David Cameron would continue to emphasise that the real contest was still between him and Gordon Brown.
