Takeover changes 'more humane'

Labour's manifesto is to include changes to the Companies Act designed to block a hostile takeover of a British firm on public interest grounds, the BBC has learnt.

The move follows the takeover of the confectioner, Cadbury, by US food giant, Kraft.

Prem Sikka , Professor of accounting at the University of Essex comments on the changes.
