Big Bang take two

The Large Hadron Collider in Cern is set to conduct the biggest and most complex scientific experiment, after breaking down during its first attempt in 2008.

Later today two beams of protons will be sent speeding around the Collider to replicate conditions shortly after the Big Bang.

Science correspondent Tom Feilden reports from Cern.
