Terrorism state of emergency 'not sensible'

A Parliamentary committee has concluded that in terms of legislation and security alerts, the UK has over-reacted in the years since the 9/11 attacks.

The committee, which includes members of both the Lords and Commons, was sceptical that a "public emergency threatening the life of the nation" has been facing the country for the last nine years.

One of the committee's members, Labour peer Lord Dubs, discuses his concerns.
