Parties outline policing policies

Crime and social disorder are high on the political agenda as the general election approaches.

On the Today programme yesterday Sir Hugh Orde, president of the Association of Chief Police Officers, called for a thorough review of the way Britain is policed.

Policing minister David Hanson, shadow home secretary Chris Grayling, and the Liberal Democrats' home affairs spokesman, Chris Huhne, outline their parties' policing priorities.
