Ghana's oil fears

Ghana is to begin pumping oil off the country's Western Region, around 250 kilometres from Accra.

There is hope that the revenue from the reserves, which are estimated to total at least 800 million barrels, will boost Ghana's economy, but experience in the region shows that oil reserves do not always bring what they promise.

Caspar Leighton reports from the Western Region.
