Maurice Broomfield's photographs from the 1950s and 60s captured an age in which Britain's industry was at its zenith. Focussing in on the details of the manufacturing process, they document the pride of British workers and the abstract beauty of the goods on which they worked. Today reporter Sanchia Berg spoke to the photographer himself and Simon Martin, curator of an exhibition of the photographs at the Pallent House gallery in Chichester.
