UK 'can't maintain open borders policy'

Most new jobs in this country over the last decade have gone to foreign workers. If you visit large employers in the UK, it is striking how many use a preponderance of non-British people to do their more mundane and lower skilled jobs.

Does that mean foreigners have stolen jobs from the British workers?

In response to a "life-swap" television programme made by Today presenter Evan Davis, Philippe Legrain, economist and author of Immigrants, Your Country Needs Them and Frank Field MP debate how immigrant workers are affecting the UK.
