Businesses 'not getting support'

Almost 60% of company directors have been refused bank loans, contradicting banks' claims that they are continuing to meet demand for business lending, according to the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Miles Templeman, director-general of the IoD, explains the implications of the findings on businesses.
