Synod solution to women bishops 'essential'

The Church of England's governing body, the General Synod, is expected to hear criticism of delays in introducing women bishops. The Church has voted in favour of the move but has yet to work out how it will be implemented.

Both sides of the argument are frustrated with the lack of progress. Member of the General Synod and chair of Women in the Church Christina Rees and Father David Houlding discuss delays in the introduction of female bishops.
