Elderly 'conscious of being a burden'


A new play tackles confronts head-on our embarrassment and fear about old age. Really Old, Like Forty Five, by Tamsin Oglesby, argues that the elderly will eventually be killed by the state.

Ms Oglesby and Baroness Mary Warnock, a supporter of euthanasia, discuss how older people are viewed by society.
