All The Way

Professional football is not just about what goes on on the pitch. There are also the songs which accompany teams to championships and cup finals.

Here's an example from 1988, featuring the England squad - including Tony Adams - performing All The Way, their song for the 1988 European Championship finals.

England crashed out of the tournament, played in West Germany, at the group stage. Losses to the Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands and the Soviet Union, left them rooted at the bottom of Group B without a point.

Only two goals were scored by England during the tournament. One by Bryan Robson... the other by Tony Adams.

All The Way, written and performed in collaboration with Stock, Aitken & Waterman, reached 66 in the charts.
