Europe's smoking attitudes

Today's guest editor David Hockney is against the UK's smoking ban, accusing it as an attack on smokers which has gone too far.

Although many other countries also have a ban, Mr Hockney feels the rules are applied in a more draconian way in the UK than elsewhere.

Defence correspondent and committed smoker Caroline Wyatt investigated continental Europe's anti-smoking laws.
