Haiti: After the storm

Decades of poverty, environmental degradation, violence, instability and dictatorship have left Haiti as the poorest nation in the Americas.

Reporter Mike Thomson, accompanied by Brazilian UN peacekeeping troops, visited Cite Soleil - a dangerous and squalid slum in the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince.
