Turner 'invigoratingly bonkers'

A new exhibition at the Tate Britain gallery explores a fascinating aspect of artist William Turner's life and work. Whenever Turner came across an artist he considered them a competitor, whether an old master or contemporary. He would make a work of the same genre to demonstrate that he was their equal.

Today presenter John Humphrys reports from the exhibition.
