World's largest bat 'threatened'

The world's largest bat is being hunted to extinction in south-east Asia according to a new study. The large flying fox - or Pteropus vampyrus has a wingspan of one and half metres. Jonathan Epstein, a veterinarian epidemiologist at the Wildlife Trust in New York who worked on the study, explains why the bat may be extinct within 6 years.
