The world's oldest surviving bound Bible, written on to animal skin pages more than 1,600 years ago, has been digitised and is being offered online to the public for the first time. Religious Affairs correspondent Robert Pigott reports on how the text, which goes on show at the British Library, presents a snap-shot of how Christianity was understood as the Bible was compiled for the first time.
