John Humphrys and Sir David

For John, there was only one interview this morning - and in his review he explains his wholehearted admiration for Sir David Attenborough.

In the interview, Sir David outlined his fears for the world's amphibians, saying that it is through manmade factors that "our poor world" is suffering.

Factors including climate change, habitat destruction and disease could wipe out more than half of Europe's amphibians by 2050, scientists at the Zoological Society of London have said.

Sir David was host at a meeting of the society, the oldest and most respected in the world.
