Murder law reform 'will aid women'

Proposals to reform the law on murder are to be published, including a change to the so-called "provocation defence". The law currently allows men who murder their wife or partner in a fit of jealousy to plead provocation but not women who kill someone who's been abusing them for years. Harriet Wistrich, a solicitor, and Errin Pizzey, founder of women's refuges, disagree on the reforms.
