Should firms adopt Apprentice tactics?

It's either a very bad spelling mistake indeed, an extreme case of not letting the facts stand in the way of a good story, or some as-yet unexplained hearing disorder.

The Quote Of The Week in the Media section of the Guardian is from Sarah Montague, interviewing Sir Alan Sugar ahead of the final edition of The Apprentice.

Apparently, she had a Homer Simpson moment and said: "Since it's recorded, can you tell me that you picked Lee?"

Well, since our interview with Sir Alan was recorded, you can listen back to it.

And you'll hear Sarah ask: "Can you tell us that you picked Claire?"

That's C-l-a-i-r-e.
