How to listen to Today

You can listen to the Today programme on your radio, on digital TV and online.

On your radio
Radio 4 is available on 198 LW across the UK. It can also be heard on 92 to 94 FM.

Listening to Radio 4 on DAB radio
You need a new radio (from 39.99) to receive DAB digital radio. Your existing set will not decode digital signals unless it carries the DAB logo (standing for digital audio broadcasting). Analogue sets (e.g FM/AM) often have a digital display or tuner but this isn't the same at all, and they can't receive DAB digital radio. DAB digital radio sets are available through hi-fi and car audio dealers, high street retailers and department stores. For more information see our digital radio website.

Listening to Radio 4 on Freeview
All the BBC's national radio services are available on Freeview digital television through an aerial. Radio 4 is on Freeview: EPG No. 704 (Radio 4 LW is available when different programmes are available on both frequencies)

Listening to Radio 4 on digital cable TV
The service is available in some areas depending on your service provider. Presently Virgin TV broadcast Radio 4 FM through their digital cable network on channel 904 and Radio 4 LW on channel 911.
