US economy recovery hopes

One US newspaper has reported record business for companies selling home-haircutting clippers, a sign that consumers are watching the pennies. Normally, the world thinks of it as the constitutional duty of the US consumer to help the global economy. But there are mixed signs as to whether the US can deliver on that expectation. Kevin Connolly spent the weekend travelling around the cities of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey to see if the economic positives outweigh the negatives.
