Syrian tanks 'enter Baba Amr'

The Red Cross is poised to enter the Baba Amr area of the Syrian city of Homs to deliver food and medical supplies after a month-long siege.

The Today programme's Andy Hosken spoke to Mohammed, a resident of Insha'at, a district of the city of Homs bordering Baba Amr.

He describes seeing "three or four tanks" at the entrance of Baba Amr.

With military operations against the Free Syrian Army apparently over, the people of Homs are afraid of "revenge operations" taking place, he said.
