Hit the perfect pass with Boris
Around the Academy:

Boris Becker shows how with his drop shot masterclass

When Boris Becker burst onto the tennis scene in 1985 he was known for his serve and volley game.

But he was also quite the master of hitting the passing shot whilst on the run.

And now he's teamed up with the BBC Sport tennis team to show you how just how to pass your opponent under full steam.

Boris' top tips for playing passing shots:

  • Run diagonally at the ball to arrive early and hit before the opponent is set

  • Keep your wrist action loose to hit with a fast racquet head
