Put more power into your serve
Around the Academy:



If you want to hit harder you need to do some physical work as well.

Practice your overarm throwing as often as you can, it's a great way to develop strength and co-ordination.

Also practice using a football or basketball and do some two-handed overhead throws, again this is great for co-ordination and also for trunk strength.

Practice the throwing action with your racquet but without the ball.

Do ten repetitions as fast as you can then try a real serve - you should notice a difference!
