There are loads of opportunities to play tennis

There are a whole host of ways of playing tennis.

And there are loads of schemes which are made to get you and your family playing.

Try wheelchair tennis

If you want to try wheelchair tennis for the first time or just want to improve there are some excellent training camps you can go to.

In February, March and April there are three weekend camps in Nottingham for all ages and abilities.

Schools Tennis

As well as playing at your local club you can get your school involved too.

By joining the British Schools Tennis Association you can get special support for coaching, priority tickets for Wimbledon and news of events and schemes in your area.

City Tennis

Getting on court in the city is now easier than ever. 23 special City Tennis Clubs are up and running across England, Scotland and Wales.

Most clubs will have spare rackets and balls and games can be played for as little as a pound.

Do More Than Just Watch

Last summer over 1000 tennis clubs across the land threw their doors open for anyone to play tennis for free.

Over 60,000 people took part including over 1000 people who hadn't played before.

The same will happen this year from April 2005.

Bounceathon is a yearly competition which is great fun aimed at kids aged 4-12.

The idea is to bounce the ball as many times as possible while raising money for British tennis and charities.

Anyone can get involved no matter your standard.

Tennis Trail

The Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation is responsible for the Tennis Trail which takes tennis into primary schools across the nation.

Over 200,000 kids have taken part in the sessions which tour the country every year.

The 2005 sessions will be kicking off soon so find out how you can get involved.
