Will Bogdanvoic get his hands on more trophies?
The last Briton to win the Men's title at Wimbledon was Fred Perry back in 1936. But the Sport Academy finds that could be about to change! Alex Bogdanovic Last season the 18-year-old won the National Tennis Championships and the junior title at the Queen's Club. The victory at Queen's shows he has class on grass. So he will expect to get beyond the first round of Wimbledon this year.
What makes the Yugoslavia-born player stand out is his spirit and determination. Bogdanovic burns with ambition and with world number one Lleyton Hewitt as his idol he can't go far wrong!
Anne Keothavong The all-conquering Williams sisters are only 21 and 22 years of age but that won't stop them looking over their shoulders!
That's because young Anne is ready to make her mark on the women's circuit in 2003. Keothavong served up some fantastic tennis last season to claim the women's national title as well as winning two £10,000 events. The 19-year-old has also worked hard to improve her game and concentration. And what's more Keothavong is set to wow fans with her stylish mix of grace and power on court. She nearly quit the game last year but had a change of heart - thank goodness for that! So make a date in your diaries to cheer on Bogdanovic and Keothavong at Wimbledon!
