Master advanced front crawl
Around the Academy:

Step one

Advanced front crawl is for those of you who are now able to swim quite a few lengths on front crawl without having to stop for a rest.

Try getting the most out of every stroke.

You can do this by making each stroke longer and also by making each stroke more powerful.

Each time you enter your hand it should stretch forwards as far as possible, and your shoulders and hips should roll slightly.

Your shoulders are very strong and you can make a more powerful pull by rolling them a little bit more.

This helps you to use your muscles more strongly than before.
