Which young swimming sensation will shine this year? The Academy eyes two future stars.
David Davies At just 17 years old, this Welshman is already competing with the big boys of the swimming world! He's enjoyed an incredible couple of years since his success at the 2001 Youth Olympic Days event. He went on to make headlines in the summer by reaching the 1500m freestyle final at the Commonwealth Games.
And a fantastic 2002 was completed when he was voted Europe's best newcomer - not a bad list for a 17-year-old!
Keri-Anne Payne The 15-year-old took gold at the World Cup in Melbourne, and now looks set to take world of swimming by storm. She has already competed with some of the world's finest senior swimmers, and is widely tipped as a future champion. By the time the 2004 Olympics get underway Keri-Anne will be 16, but her coach believes she has the potential to reach a final in Athens. This girl looks set for stardom!
