Take to the floor with Tweddle!
Around the Academy:

Beth Tweddle will get you out on the floor!
Hi, I'm Beth Tweddle, part of the GB Olympic team and World Championship bronze medallist.

And this is my Olympic gymnastic guide to the floor.

Watch my guide:

The floor is a mixture of dance and tumbling routines.

The judges will be looking for cleanly executed routine.

To help you understand the floor I will guide you through a simple routine.

The routine will consist of the most basic moves - forward and backward roll, cartwheel and handstand.

Hopefully this little taster will get you out there wanting more.

You never know in a few years we may see you at the Olympics on the floor!
