Gaelic football and hurling haven't moved into the same fashionable times as football with their long shorts.

They are a bit more roomy these days than the 1980s almost skin tight versions though.

They have to stand-up to the rigours of a lot of physical contact and the right fit is important.

The shorts should fit comfortably, if they are too tight it increases the risk of injury.
