|Highs and lows|
|Around the Academy:
One of the best things about what I do is the chance to travel the world and see amazingly beautiful places.
The people that you're travelling with are generally a really really good bunch.
It's usually the same people so you get to know them and you can have a laugh - it's good fun.
More than anything though it's great that I get to do something that I really love doing.
Getting to ride my bike down some of these amazing tracks is just...amazing!
Obviously injuries are hard to cope with.
And unfortunately there is a downside to travelling too.
It can be wicked but it can also be very very tiring.
This year we do 23 races in 24 weekends - in the UK, the United States, Europe and Canada.
Being away from friends and family for long periods is hard.
You tend to spend a lot of time on your own, just lonely, travelling.
When you get on a big team you obviously have all the advantages that go with it.
But there's a lot of pressure.
Everyone just assumes that this dream of being sponsored is a great thing, which it is.
But sometimes they don't see what's behind that - the pressure, the expectation.
You don't only have the pressure of yourself but also of the team.
But we're all competitive people which is what drives us to be No.1.
So we're going to keep doing it and you just have to accept the highs and lows that go with it.
