Tracy celebrates another success on the podium
Tracy loves the adrenalin rush of racing downhill

Tracy Moseley

I grew up on a dairy farm so we had bikes from a young age.

We used them as a means of getting about the farm and to play on.

So, I grew up riding bikes - never competitively, just for playing on and getting from one end of the farm to the other.

My brother used to race mountain bikes cross country.

I would go along and watch him racing.

But I looked at it and just thought that it seemed like too much hard work.

He was slogging it, doing laps for hours and hours on end, obviously in pain from the effort

I enjoyed riding my bike but I found that I particularly loved riding downhill.

It was much more fun - more adrenalin, more of a rush.

And there was certainly a lot less effort involved, which was nice from my point of view!
