Smashing shuttles around a court is fantastic fun, excellent exercise and a brilliant way to meet new people.

Loads of you have probably given it a go at school or in your back garden, but have you ever thought about going to your local club?

No? Well maybe you should! Even Tracey Hallam and the rest of the GB squad had to start somewhere!

If you're looking for a club in England, then the link below is the one you'll need.

Just click on the "clubs" section, then "find a club", enter your postcode, hit return, and a list of your local clubs will appear - perfect!

If you're after a club in Wales, the Welsh Badminton Union is your first stop.

Either call them on 02920 222082 or email them at wbu@welshbadminton.net and they will put you in touch with your nearest club.

If you want to smack shuttlecocks about in Scotland, then this is the link you'll need.

And all those in Ireland wanting to try their hand at the fastest racquet sport, click on the link below to find your closest club.
