Let rip with tag rugby!

Tag Rugby looks set to be a rip-roaring success

If you've been inspired by the rugby extravaganza Down Under, you're probably raring to have a go yourself.

So how about letting rip with tag rugby!

It's a similar version to Dragon Rugby and is ideal for beginners.

There are no scrums, line-outs, rucks or mauls.

Tackles are made by ripping a tag attached by velcro to a belt tied around the waist.

If you live in the Cardiff area, you've probably come across tag rugby already.

But rugby bosses want to make sure nobody misses out.

And now Primary school pupils and junior club players across Wales are being given the opportunity to try it out.

It all kicked off with a special tag festival at Barry rugby club on Sunday 2 November.

But lots of other events are being held across the country so remember to keep an eye out for what's going on in your area.
