Try touch rugby this summer
Around the Academy:

Touch rugby can help you improve your habdling and dodging skills
Touch rugby is fun and easy to play

Got a ball? Got some mates?

Good! Now you're ready to start playing touch rugby.

Yes, it really is as easy as that!

Touch Rugby is a simpler version of the full game with no tackling, scrummaging, rucking, mauling, lineouts or kicking.

All you need is a rugby ball, a group of friends and an open place to play.

This could be your local park or even the beach.

It's a fun game and is ideal for beginners, although people of all abilities can play.

In fact, it's a great way to work on on your running, handling and dodging skills.

In Australia and New Zealand there are more registered touch players than the 15-a-side game!

And now the game is really taking off in this country too.

Why not ask your local development officer about touch rugby events going on in your area.

There should be plenty - especially in the summer months.
