Get involved with your club or school team
It couldn't be easier to find out about getting involved in rugby. Most schools will give you a chance to give the game a go. And lots of clubs run junior teams too. So if you fancy whizzing down the wing or packing down in the front row - what are you waiting for?
First things first Your first point of contact is your local rugby development officer. They should be able to provide you with all the information you need about what's going on in your area. They can also put you in touch with your local club. Remember there are different people to contact depending on where you live.
England In England there are 50 development officers divided between nine regions - North East, North West, Yorkshire, Mids West, Mids East, London N, London S, South, South West. Ireland Rugby in Ireland is divided into four branches, each of which has its own development officer. They'll be able to provide you with all the information you need about getting involved in rugby in your area.
