World Cup Player Focus
Around the Academy:

The World Cup is rugby's global centrepiece - the chance for the leading players to prove themselves every four years.

Players of the class of Jonny Wilkinson, Joe Rokocoko, George Gregan and Brian O'Driscoll will all be strutting their stuff in Australia.

But just because certain players play in the same position it doesn't necessarily mean they have a similar style.

For example, lineout expert Scott Murray is a very different sort of player to England hard man Martin Johnson, even though they both line up in the second row.

And while Jason Robinson and Rokocoko both play on the wing, they have very different skills and abilities.

So who are the World Cup speedsters and which are the scavengers?

Can you tell the ring masters from the hard hitters?

Click around the links above for all the lowdown on some of the exciting players you'll see in action at this year's World Cup.
