Olivia can't wait to do battle with New Zealand again
There are plenty of challenges ahead for me as England captain this year. New Zealand came over here to play a three-match Test series in February - and though we lost, we proved we can compete with the best in the world. We have a chance for revenge in June when we'll be the tourists as we jet off to New Zealand for the return series. These matches give us a real chance to prove how well we can play against the team that are one place above us in the world rankings. New Zealand are number two but England are right behind chasing in third spot! But our main aim of the year is to get a medal in the World Championship in Jamaica next July. We just missed out on a medal at Manchester's Commonwealth Games last year so we are hungry for success! The next generation of England players, the development squad, are also playing in the European open championships. There's lots of top England netball action this year and the future of the sport in this country is in great hands!
