Working at the Belfry
The Belfry golf club in Warwickshire
The Belfry is Tom's current office. Not bad eh?

Tom Fisher

Do you get to play much?

The first two years of the course I used to play a lot in local pro tournaments but since I started working at the PGA Golf Academy I've got less time.

In the summer I was working up to 60 hours a week, five days a week. So I was tired and working at somewhere like the Belfry Hotel, business comes first.

There's loads of tournaments that you can enter. One guy here played about 20 tournaments this year and some of them you can be earning up to £10,000.

My biggest pay cheque doesn't match that - I think about £90 is the best I've done - thanks for asking me that!!

The best thing about the Belfry is that I can play on the Brabazon course which they use for the Ryder Cup.

If I could have a round of golf with anyone it would still be Nick Faldo, with his wicked Pringle jumpers! His is the first name I look out for on the leaderboard.
