DJ Paul is giving it the large on the Bears decks
Playing records and keeping the crowd at a basketball match entertained is a glamorous life.
It's a tough mission but the Master of Ceremonies with the Brighton Bears Paul Williams reveals why he's up for the job.
What do you do? It's an essential part of the basketball experience so I keep the music going and inform everybody what's going on in the game. I create song lists for each game and do sound effects which is great fun. I have sounds for celebrating a basket or just silly noises to try and put a team off.
There are jingles for individual players with Jimmy Hendrix's Foxy Lady one of my favourites for our very own Albert White.
Highs and lows During a match you can be ready for action and you find the machine hasn't been switched on. That is always unbelievably embarrassing. Seeing the team winning is fantastic. When they are cruising I will play the Great Escape tune which is always a laugh. Getting families returning for season tickets is important for the Bears and the game itself. So it's very satisfying to see them enjoying the games.
