Mouthguard Gloves Shinguard Boots Ball Stick

Hockey is a non-contact sport.

But with the ball flying about at scary speeds and sticks being swung in all directions, you can still expect to pick up the odd bump and bruise.

That's why there are a few precautions you should take, such as wearing shinpads and mouth guards.

Other than that, if you've got a stick and some boots - you're ready to go.

Unless you're a goalie, that is!

If you do play in goal make sure you get to the dressing room early because it's going to take you some time to get padded up properly!

Goalies have to don full battle gear - including pads, kickers, helmet, gloves and chest protector.

Click around the buttons above to find out more about getting dressed for success on the hockey pitch.
