Padraig's bunker advice
Around the Academy:

Padraig Harrington is renowned for being one of the biggest grafters on Tour.

The Irishman louts loads of practice in to make sure he's on song when it comes to tournaments.

And that includes playing from the binker.

Here he teams up with BBC rugby presenter Jeremy Guscott to show you how to perfect your bunker play.

Padraig's top tips for bunker play:

  • Don't lean on your back leg, this will only cause you to hit the ground behind the ball. Lean forward and you will hit less sand.

  • Don't worry about being too accurate. You don't actually hit the ball so there is more of a margin for error.

  • The ball should lie just inside your left heel. If the ball is too far back you will start to lean back too.
