Seve Ballasteros has more than a few tricks up his sleeve on the golf course.

When he has a tree or a bunker in his way, Seve uses the fade shot to bring the ball from left to right, away from danger.

Seve's handy hints for playing the fade shot:

Move your stance to the left, depending on how far you want to bring the ball to the right

Open the club face when you hit the ball - this will give you height and direction

If you need extra distance, use one or two clubs extra than normal
