All good swings start with a good set-up and good posture. It's something anybody can work on - there's no great mystery.
If you get it right it makes hitting a good shot so much easier. If you haven't, you're always going to have tomake some kindof compensation in your swing on the way to hitting the ball. Padraig's set up is a good one to copy. His feet are shoulder width apart. He has the ball backward of middle for this shot, a 7-iron. And you can see how his left arm is virtually a continuation of the club. He keeps it nice and straight so they form one long line. This is the spoke of the wheel he will turn. It is noticeable with Padraig how straight he keeps it on his backswing too, which keeps the arc really wide.
