Around the Academy:



Ernie's hands are like huge plates of meat.

But he grips the club extremely lightly as he stands over the ball.

You could easily pull it out of his hands with a little tug.

He holds the club as if it were an egg!

If you want to check your grip is right, try this.

Ideally, as you look down you should be able to see two or three knuckles of your left hand and two on your right.

Many club players find they have the right hand twisted too far round to the right.
